kids free = no ticket needed?

Booking for two adults and our 9-year-old. I know under-12s are free, but does “free” mean I leave him off the online booking and just bring him with us? I really do not want to discover at the entrance that he needed some zero-euro ticket.

Free does not mean ticketless. Children 12 and under are a free category, but the free ticket is still booked online and then collected from the ticket office at the time of the visit.

If it's published I'll quote it. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too.

So put the child into the booking. Price is zero; reservation/collection is still part of the process.

Perfect. That was exactly what I was worried about.
